Unique trio is traveling to China in February 2016

We are delighted to announce that a Chinese New Year performance has been confirmed for February 2016. A recently formed unique trio is traveling to China for this event for a week, they are: Latvian flautist Veronika Gzirišvili, Swedish ballet dancer Liisa Veiderma, Chinese pianist Jun Zhao.
Veronika is currently a MA student at the Conservatorio de Musica de Arragon and at the Conservatori Superior de Música "Salvador Seguí" de Castelló (Spain), also at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. She has had master classes with Kersten Maccall (Germany), William Bennett (United Kingdom), Patrick Gallois (Finland), Felix Renggli (Switzerland), Philippe Benoît (Netherlands), Michael Faust (Germany). Her orchestra and ensemble experience include: Conservatorio de Musica de Arragon Symphony Orchestra; Conservatorio Superior de Música "Salvador Seguí" wind ensemble, symphony orchestra, wind quintet (2013), Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre Flute Quintet, she also deputises with the Estonian National Symphonic Orchestra.

Liisa started her ballet education in Malmö, Sweden and piano education in Heleneholm, Sweden. She has participated in many dance events which include: July 2009 " 47 Bartholin International Ballet Seminar" at the Royal Danish Theater, Copenhagen, Denmark; soloist at the Rhodins Ballet school, Malmö Dance academy; 2015 Erik Yakovleva (Russia) workshop; May 2015 Dancing workshop at Daf Studio, Tallinn. Liisa is also the recipient of the following awards: 2005 Winner of talent competition at "Burlövs music school", Malmö, Sweden; 2007 2nd prize in Piano Competition, Malmö kulturskola, Malmö. She has been awarded the Gabrielle Katthän, Mai von Rosen, and John Anderslövs scholarships for pianists at the Royal Swedish Academy of Music. Liisa is also known for performing chamber music with flutists, violinists, cellists, clarinetists and so on. Currently, she is continuing her studies at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and at the Tallinn Noor Ballett Fouetté. Liisa is also a stretching teacher at the Wepoledance Studio in Estonia.
